Powered by a 6-core Intel Xeon D-1531 processor running at 2.2 GHz (up to 2.7 GHz boost), the RS3621xs+ offers fast and efficient processing capabilities, making it ideal for demanding applications such as virtualization, large-scale data backups, and database management. The system comes pre-installed with 8GB DDR4 ECC memory, expandable up to 64GB, ensuring high-speed data access and increased resilience to data corruption through error correction.

This NAS server features 12 drive bays that support 3.5″ and 2.5″ SATA hard drives or SSDs, providing flexible storage options that can meet the needs of both high-capacity and high-performance environments. If additional storage is needed, the RS3621xs+ can be expanded to support up to 36 drives with Synology’s RX1217 or RX1217RP expansion units.
